CHALLENGES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

One of the key issues on this project was that both the store and the car park had to always remain live during our works. To achieve this the Site Manager developed a good working relationship with the Store Manager and on-site staff, and we always had a banksman on duty to guide both our vehicles around the public accessed areas and any client and delivery vehicles.
The project was completed for opening the garden centre in October.
The project was situated very close to the river Ellen. No environmental incidents occurred.
Works to the car park were completed out of hours to minimise disruption to the public.
