What We Delivered at Barrow Waterfront Allotments

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to deliver the Barrow Waterfront Allotments project, part of a wider regeneration effort to bring community and environmental value to a former industrial site.

The works involved clearing and remediating the brownfield site, creating 51 fully serviced allotment plots, and constructing new access roads and footpaths. The scheme also included a car park, storage building, perimeter fencing, and external lighting.

Working in coordination with local authorities and stakeholders, the project supports improved access to green spaces and encourages local food growing and community engagement.
