Thomas Armstrong Construction Launches New Community Fund to Support Local Projects

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd is proud to announce the launch of the Thomas Armstrong Construction Community Fund, a new initiative dedicated to supporting the people and projects that make Cumbria thrive.
Incorporating our award-winning Washington Homes, the fund will be managed by the Cumbria Community Foundation. It is designed to provide grants of up to £2,000 to not-for-profit organisations operating near our head office in Flimby and our various sites across the county, including Workington, Maryport, Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Gilcrux, Millom, Moor Row, Penrith and Wigton.
Our goal is to support projects that tackle poverty, provide essential skills and training, and promote better health and wellbeing. By partnering with the Foundation, we aim to ensure that our contributions reach the grassroots organisations making a real difference in the lives of children, families, and individuals.
We are looking to support inclusive activities that reduce isolation, promote mental health, and build more resilient communities. If you are a local organisation working in these areas, we encourage you to visit the Cumbria Community Foundation website to check eligibility and apply: https://www.cumbriafoundation.org/fund/thomas-armstrong-construction-community-fund/.
Together, we look forward to building a brighter future for Cumbria.
