Thomas Armstrong Construction to Begin Major Refurbishment at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest

Thomas Armstrong Construction (TAC) is delighted to announce the commencement of a major refurbishment programme at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, Penrith. The project, officially underway as of September 1, 2025, is valued at approximately £9 million and is scheduled for completion in April 2026.

The extensive project focuses on the comprehensive refurbishment of 113 guest lodges, a key component of Center Parcs' ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experience and accommodation standards.

The scope of work is broad and includes a full internal overhaul of various lodge types. This will involve the installation of new bathrooms, kitchens, and bedroom furniture, along with significant upgrades to existing plumbing, heating, and electrical systems. Additionally, TAC will be applying new finishes to floors, walls, and ceilings. Externally, the project will also see improvements to paths and patio areas.

In addition to the primary refurbishment, Thomas Armstrong Construction will be carrying out electrical infrastructure upgrade works to the lodge supplies.

This significant refurbishment reflects Center Parcs' continued investment in its facilities and its dedication to providing high-quality, memorable experiences for its guests.
