The Works comprised the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a new Water Sports Club House and two adjacent Changing Blocks with external boat parking area and associated external works. The buildings were elevated on a partially buried concrete structure to lift them above the flood level.

BUILDING WORKS INCLUDED

Building One – large function room, meeting room, kitchen & small plant room.
Building Two – Female shower, toilet & change facilities including lockers.
Building Three – Male shower, toilet & change facilities including lockers.
Use of structural insulated panels.
Ground source heating system.
Sewage treatment plant system.

The project was delivered with zero reportable Health & Safety incidents.
The project was delivered with zero environmental notices issued.
96% of waste was diverted from landfill.
Minimal complaints were received during the project.
The building was complete in time for the 2018 season.
Ground source heating will make the building economical to run.
No issues with working next to Lake.
