Supporting Bethany on Her Team GB Journey

At Thomas Armstrong, we are proud to support people in our local communities who go above and beyond to achieve their goals.

This year, we were delighted to sponsor Bethany Casson, a Millom-based paramedic with the North West Ambulance Service, as she raised funds to represent Great Britain at the Women's Baseball World Cup Qualifiers in Taiwan.

Bethany was part of the historic Great Britain Women's Baseball team that won the 2025 European Championships, securing their place on the road to the World Cup. Balancing her role as a frontline paramedic, studying for a Master's degree in Mountain Medicine, and competing at an international level is an incredible achievement.

Following the tournament, Bethany thanked us for our support and shared that the team had enjoyed a good, albeit very wet, tournament. While they didn't achieve the result they had hoped for, they delivered strong performances and helped raise the profile of women's baseball on the international stage.

We are honoured to have played a small part in Bethany's journey and would like to congratulate her on her achievements. Everyone at Thomas Armstrong wishes her every success for the future.
