Supporting Grassroots Football Through Our Earnse Bay Outdoor Centre Project
As part of our ongoing social value commitment on the Earnse Bay Outdoor Centre project for Westmorland & Furness Council, we were delighted to support local footballers.
We recently donated a range of essential football equipment to Walney Island Juniors FC Under 7s as they begin their very first season in grassroots football. Our aim was to ensure the team has everything they need to train, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy the game.
The donation included:
- Footballs
- Training bibs
- Water bottles
- Cones and markers
- Whistles
- First aid kits
- Pop-up goals
- Sports bags
Supporting grassroots sport is an important way of investing in young people and helping local communities. We hope this equipment gives the players and coaches the resources they need for an enjoyable season, both on and off the pitch.
We're proud to be delivering the Earnse Bay Outdoor Centre project for Westmorland & Furness Council and to create positive social value alongside our construction work.
